Extra Credit

This is a once in a semester offer. Yes, you can get extra credit for constructing a DNA molecule. Pick your E.C. point level and go after it!

Level 1 (20pts): DNA molecule must have 20 nucleotides including 5 of adenine, 5 of thymine, 5 of guanine, 5 of cytosine, 20 phosphates, and 20 deoxyribose molecules correctly positioned. This will make a "ladder" of 10 rungs.

Level 2 (30 pts): DNA has a twist to it (double helix) and is 3D.

Level 3 (40 pts): DNA model holds the twist on its own.

Level 4 (45 pts): DNA model lasts to be shown to classes over a year from now (not made of food).
